Here is how joining Train Station works, what it costs, and what to have ready. Almost every family starts the same way: with a visit.

Take a tour
Visits run 7:30 to 9:30 AM on school days, by appointment, and we urge you to bring your child. You will see classes in session, meet the teachers and walk the hallway.
Apply online
The application is completed online through FACTS. There is a $50 non-refundable application fee for every student.
Acceptance
The office confirms your child’s classroom, schedule and start date, depending on space.
Registration
Complete the registration forms below and pay the $150 enrollment fee (new families) and the first month’s tuition. Both are due before the first day of school.
Enrollment
Sign the Child Placement Contract and set up your payment agreement with FACTS, either for the term in full or in equal monthly payments.
First day
Orientation details come from the office once your child is enrolled. Then it is a good goodbye at the classroom door, and the journey begins.
Five forms, and a doctor’s visit.
A child may not start until every form is complete and on file with the preschool office.
Tuition by program and days per week.
Choose two, three, four or five days a week. Toddlers and Preschool have a two-day minimum; Pre-K has a three-day minimum. Every schedule includes up to nine consecutive hours a day and two snacks.

Does my child need to be potty trained?
Not to start. Toddlers (18 months to 2½) and Preschool 2½ to 3s welcome children who are not yet potty trained. Preschool (PS and PS+) and Pre-K are for potty-trained children, and children are expected to be fully toilet trained by the time they are in the PS+ class.
Which days and hours can my child attend?
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, for up to nine consecutive hours a day. Choose two, three, four or five days a week. Children are not admitted after 10:00 AM.
Should I bring my child on the tour?
Yes, please. Seeing your child in the classroom is the best part of the visit for everyone.
What if the class I want is full?
Space varies by classroom and by the days you need. The office can tell you what is open now and what is likely to open, so ask early.
